November 7, 1908
Lake Champlain was 2 5/8" lower than at any time since 1827 after long summer-fall drought.

November 7, 1968
Heavy snowfall of 10-20" on high elevations permitted earliest opening of ski trails; extensive damage occurred to utility lines in valleys.
