June 11, 1842
Snowstorm over most of state: Irasburg in north 10", Bennington in south 4"; greatest amounts on high elevations, little in valleys.

June 11, 1973
Tornado cut 35-mile path through Chittenden, Franklin, and Lamoille counties; damage near Milton; thunderstorm caused $300,000 other damage.
