February 6, 1855
Cold Tuesday: -44° at West Randolph; Hanover, N.H., had its coldest day since 1835 with a mean of -19.4°.

February 6, 1920
Great storm of snow and ice pellets, which began on the 5th, dropped icy covering with the temperature in the 20s throughout the state; Somerset reported 4.20" melted precipitation, Cavendish, 2.42", Woodstock, 2".
